Joelle Rose

; Spatial Design graduate based in Melbourne, Australia.

Joelle’s practice involves the manipulation, transformation, interruption and alteration of space to evoke specific experiences. With a strong interest in the fabrication of experimental organic forms, she is passionate about enabling space to foster immersive experiences that influence how people interact with and experience their environment.

Joelle’s synthesis of installation-based structure and sculptural architecture aims to challenge the conventional roles, uses and experiences of space. Her projects encourage spatial exploration and reflection through carefully considered design elements, fusing form, function and artistic expression to both engage and provoke thought.

Maintaining an interest in the impact of spatial design on the human experience, Joelle hopes to design spaces that facilitate dynamic interaction and deeper connection with their surroundings. Her work strives to enhance the way people perceive and respond to the environments they inhabit in terms of behaviour, perception, and movement.
