Joelle Rose

; Spatial Design graduate based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her practice explores the manipulation, transformation, interruption and alteration of space to evoke specific experiences. With a strong interest in the fabrication of experimental organic forms, Joelle examines the ways in which design elements react to and interact with both themselves and their surrounding environment.

Her synthesis of installation-based structure and sculptural architecture aims to challenge the conventional roles, uses and experiences of space.

Joelle is passionate about enabling space to foster immersive experiences that influence how people interact with and experience their environment. Her projects encourage spatial exploration and reflection through carefully considered design elements. The fusion of form, function and artistic expression result in unique spatial environments that both engage and provoke thought.

Joelle is interested in further examining the impact of spatial design on the human experience through behaviour, perception, and movement, creating environments that evoke specific emotional and intellectual responses. Joelle hopes to design spaces that facilitate dynamic interaction and deeper connection with their surroundings. Her work strives to enhance the way people perceive and respond to the environments they inhabit.
